Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about me – I’m a full-time professional musician and have been doing so since 2013, singing at weddings and private events, as well as teaching singing and piano lessons at my home studio in Nottingham.
My interest in music started when I began school, I have learnt many instruments such as the recorder and violin, before settling on the piano when I was 14 years old. I have always loved to sing (when I was a child I think it used to drive my parents mad!), singing in choirs, school concerts and then choosing vocals as my main instrument when I studied Music at the University of Derby.
I have studied the voice itself extensively, not just for being able to teach it but for personal study as well – I have completed courses about anatomy, attended sessions with leading vocal coach Anne-Marie Speed (X Factor, Britains Got Talent) in London, as well as being awarded my Grade 8 in Vocals.
When performing, I will always have by my side my husband Kyle, who is a trained sound engineer and he makes every performance sound the best it can technologically be. Outside of all things music related, I enjoy spending my time shopping, reading and spending time with my parents’ 2 Miniature Schnauzers, Charlie & Rosie.
I’m also a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and you can find me on various musician listings online.
